Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (link below how to make)

  • 3 large overripe bananas

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line baking sheet with parchment

  2. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl (with paddle if using electric mixer) until light and fluffy (aprox. 2 mins)

  3. Add-in eggs until combined

  4. Add-in buttermilk, and bananas until combined

  5. Fold in dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) until combined

  6. Pour finished batter into prepared pan

  7. Bake for 30-45 mins or until toothpick comes out with a few crumbs if you like it a little gooey (my personal favorite way) or till it is pulled out clean for a fully baked loaf

  8. Let cool before eating for the best results

  9. Enjoy!
