Made with juicy ground meat, ginger, and a flavorful soy-based glaze, they come together quickly and can be served over rice, noodles, or veggies. 

Ingredients:

  • 1lb ground turkey

  • 50g breadcrumbs

  • ¼ cup green onion, minced

  • 3 tsp ginger paste

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ tsp pepper

Glaze:

  • 4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tsp ginger paste

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2 tsp cornstarch


Directions:

  1. In a large bowl combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onion, ginger, egg, and pepper

  2. Preheat oven to 350, and prepare a sheet pan with parchment

  3. Roll meat mixture into 1-2 oz balls, and place onto prepared pan

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked

  5. In a small bowl whisk together all glaze ingredients 

  6. Heat a small sauce pan at medium heat 

  7. Cook glaze for 2-3 minutes or until it begins to thicken 

  8. Coat meatballs in glaze and serve
