Ingredients:

Fried Pickles:

  • 1 jar pickles, chips

  • ½ cup flour 

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup buttermilk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 

  • ¼ cup cornmeal

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Dip:

  • 2 tbsp mayo 

  • 3 tbsp sour cream

  • 2 tsp dill

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Zest of 1 lemon

Directions:

Fried Pickles:

  1. Drain your jar of pickles 

  2. Pat your pickles dry with paper towels, and set aside

  3. In a small bowl combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt

  4. In another small bowl combine buttermilk and egg

  5. In last small bowl combine panko, and cornmeal

  6. Talk your pickles and begin breading. Dip into flour mixture, then egg mixture, and repeat this once more 

  7. Once you have floured, and egg your pickles twice place into breadcrumbs and place into a plate

  8. Repeat this process with all pickles

  9. Prep a large plate with paper towels on it 

  10. In a large pan heat vegetable oil over medium heat 

  11. Once hot begin placing pickles into the oil with tongs

  12. Flip pickles after about 30 seconds - 1 minute 

  13. Each side should be golden brown

  14. Remove pickles from pan and put onto the plate you prepared earlier with paper towels to absorb any extra oil

  15. Once all the pickles are fried set aside and remove the oil from heat

Dip:

  1. In a small bowl combine all the ingredients 

  2. Dip and enjoy!
