Hi, and welcome to my page!
My name is Mae, I am a 22 year old graduate, fresh out of college and learning how to navigate life. Life is a world of unknown for me. From what I want my career to be, to where I will be living within the next year, hell to if my car will make it to work on Tuesday. All of these unknowns are just that, unknown. The only thing I can do is work on myself and work towards the life I hope to someday achieve.
I decided to start this page as a way to help build a community looking to improve their lives, to learn from mistakes, and take it day by day.
I myself am learning. I am not claiming to be an expert and I will make mistakes along the way but isn’t that what it’s all about? No one knows what life is “supposed” to look like after college, and no one said that it would be easy. From factors such as:
Adjusting to living back at home
Learning to have an active lifestyle if you’re no longer an athlete
Managing long distance friendships
Understanding how to manage your free time now that you aren’t in classes
Learning how to have a healthy balance of work and life
All of these are simple examples of what type of lifestyle changes are to come or have already. I myself have had to adjust to many of these as well, (and not all of them have gone well, might I add) but learning is key.
Recipes:
Each week I am looking to bring new and exciting recipes to the table. Just because you are eating healthy doesn’t mean it needs to be boring, too expensive to maintain, or that it’s too hard to make. These are all excuses that I intend to prove you wrong in. From cheap meals, to meal preps, and to seasonal recipes collections stay tuned and follow along the way!
Health & Wellness:
Along with recipes I'll be posting realistic tips and tricks related to health and wellness. Feeling your best, maintaining healthy habits, and living a healthy lifestyle isn’t always easy, but each day is a day you can work towards it. Everyone has their bad days, including myself. Learning how to get yourself out of that funk is half the battle. These small things can make a big impact and this page is here to help you make your journey realistic and obtainable.
